Detection

Morpho is the world leader in computed tomography systems for the detection of dangerous or illicit substances in luggage, ensuring safe travel worldwide.

Morpho (Safran group) is the world’s leading supplier of computed tomography systems for the detection of dangerous or illicit substances, used in the air and land transport sectors, as well as to protect high-value sites and critical infrastructures. These systems are used to protect individuals (at airports, public events, etc.) and by governments (defense, customs, penitentiaries, emergency services, etc.).

Countering new threats

With the emergence of new threats, Morpho develops and commercializes high-tech solutions for the detection of explosives, narcotics and chemical products: computed tomography (CT), Raman spectroscopy, ITMS™ (Ion Trap Mobility Spectrometer) trace detection technology and X-ray diffraction.

The company is also developing a new growth outlet, based on the X-ray inspection and detection of nuclear, radiological, biological and chemical (NRBC) threats.

Global presence

Morpho has installed over 1,700 computed tomography explosive detection systems (EDS) worldwide. Through this installed base, the largest in the world, Morpho plays a pivotal role in protecting people, transport systems, data and countries.
