Fostering diversity and equal opportunity
Safran considers diversity a key performance factor and encourages it to promote equal opportunity and the fight against all forms of discrimination.

Fostering diversity is one of the top priorities in Safran’s human resources policy.
Diversity drives both performance and innovation: the measures applied are designed to facilitate the integration of all talents, and enable each person to fulfill their career aspirations, with strict respect for equal opportunity. In November 2010, Safran signed the Diversity Charter, which applies to all companies in our Group.
The Diversity and CSR department is responsible for ensuring equal opportunity and promoting diversity in all HR processes implemented across Safran. It coordinates, manages and formally expresses all actions designed to promote equal opportunity and diversity, while preventing discrimination.
Safran continued its commitment to diversity in 2013 through targeted actions in four areas:
- Gender equality in the workplace.
- Employment of young people and seniors.
- Hiring and sustained employment of disabled persons.
- Social inclusion.
Safran defines policies and objectives in all of these areas, then applies them in all companies through a network of Diversity correspondents. This organization continually energizes Safran’s position as an exemplary corporate citizen.
